Options for End of Course Evaluation

During this academic year (2005-2006) the faculty will have five options when considering evaluations at the end of their course.  Click on the heading to learn more about each option.

  1. Central Administration: Have your course evaluations administered through a central system that will provide your students an online survey with the approved questions and will generate a report of the results for you.  This option requires no effort on your part and it will happen unless you opt out of this choice.

  2. Paper Process: You may choose to use a paper process to administer to your students in class.  You will need to obtain the necessary amount of questionnaires and score sheets and submit them to CTIS Operations for scoring.

  3. Alternative Evaluation Tools:  You may choose to use a variety of other assessment tools, such as TestPilot or the survey tool within Vista, to create and administer their own end-of-course evaluation.

  4. Opt Out:  You may also choose to do nothing and not ask your students for input; however, this is highly discouraged.
